A Message from Our Head of School

We believe in the goodness of Memphis, even in the midst of its struggles. For our city to reach its fullest potential, we need leaders and citizens who make intentional choices to heal and grow. If you take a close look at Harding Academy right now, you will see those future leaders and citizens. Our students are smart, creative, and strong. But more importantly, they are courageous.

Our most treasured task is helping students develop the courage to employ all of their unique skills for God’s transformative work here on earth. We provide the academic instruction they will need to be creative problem solvers. We coach our athletes to be not only physically strong but also strong in their character. We help students to create and dream through an empowering fine arts program.

Years from now, when leaders analyze what had the most meaningful positive impact on our city, they will point to institutions that made intentional choices to restore Memphis. We hope you will find Harding Academy on that list.
