Book Bundles Available in The Den

This year we have partnered with Novel to provide book bundles with all the school-year texts for grades 6–12. These book bundles will be sold at a discounted rate in The Den beginning in July 2025. You are still free to buy them on your own if you prefer. These bundles do NOT include summer reading books, so those should be purchased on your own as usual. Please reach out to Charli Gonder if you have any questions.

  • Inclement Weather Policy

In the event of adverse weather conditions prior to the beginning of the school day or during the school day, Harding will notify parents by email, media announcements, and on the school website. It is important that parents have correct and current email addresses on file.

Please keep in mind the following whenever winter weather is being forecast.

    • Do not assume that Harding is closed if other schools are closed.
    • We will do our best to make a timely decision and notify our school community using the communication tools listed above.
    • It is often challenging to make a decision that is ideal and reflective of the greater Memphis area. Because we serve families from a wide variety of zip codes, we trust parents to make a decision that is in the best interest of their children. If we remain open and the conditions are more severe where you live, please use personal judgement regarding safe travel. The fact that Harding is open does not mean that roads are safe everywhere. We do our best but will understand if you choose to avoid hazardous road conditions. Ultimately, the decision resides with you as parents.

  • Thrive: Academic Differentiation

Thrive is our academic differentiation program for all students in K–12. We provide extra supports or challenges based on students’ individual needs to help them thrive in every class. Here’s what that looks like in middle and upper school:

    • Our middle and upper school programs are structured to serve students in everyday support and small ratio classes.

    • English and math learning specialists are available to help students individually and in small groups.
    • The learning lab is open to all students by appointment (students can have papers edited, homework reviewed, etc.).
    • Teachers are trained on differentiated learning within the classroom.
    • We offer targeted academic support classes for qualifying students with Individualized Learning Plans in middle and upper school.
    • Honors, Advanced Placement, and Dual Enrollment offerings in the upper school provide rigorous, supportive pathways for students ready for college-level work.

Download the FACTS App

We are excited to announce the new FACTS app! This app will be a one-stop shop for parents to check grades, order lunches, pay for trips, and more. Moving forward, this will be one of our primary forms of communication, so it is important for all of our parents to download the app.
