What is the Annual Fund?

At it most basic definition, the Annual Fund is our yearly giving foundation that bridges the gap between tuition and the actual cost of a Harding education. But what it truly means is possibility. The Annual Fund makes it possible for us to go above and beyond what is expected of a Memphis private school. It’s what allows us to have a thriving pottery studio, a counseling department that has received outside commendation, and a campus minister that serves our students daily.

Please support the Annual Fund with a gift at one of the following levels:

Visionaries Circle: $10,000+
Benefactors Circle: $5,000–$9,999
Founders Circle: $2,500–$4,999
President’s Circle: $1,000–$2,499
Friend: $500–$999
Partner: $250–$499
Donor: $1–$249

Scholarships provide opportunities for families who could not otherwise afford a Harding education. A gift to an endowed scholarship fund is a wonderful gesture to honor family members, friends, and mentors.

Each year we have a number of students who need need additional financial support to cover uniforms, class dues, ACT prep, or other fees. The Overflow Fund provides support beyond tuition assistance for some of our most vulnerable students.

The Endowment for Excellence in the Fine Arts provides a permanent source of funding to expand and enhance all fine arts programs at Harding Academy. We are passionate about our students growing closer to their Creator by exploring their creativity.

Prayers of a Principal

Melanie Semore’s prayers (shared in her daily morning memo) have been collected and published as a beautiful year-long prayer guide. All proceeds go to the Melanie Semore Endowment for Excellence in Teaching.
