Junior James Darby applied and has been accepted into the 2017 Tennessee Governor’s School for Engineering. He will attend the four-week course this summer at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
This year for Senior Service Day the seniors donated their time sorting donations at the Mid–South Food Bank and at MIFA delivering meals in different areas of the city.
On Thursday, March 2 the 5th and 6th grade students on our Cordova lower school campus gave a fabulous performance of The Wizard of Oz.
Last Friday our fourth grade students enjoyed an extended-day field trip to the Discovery Park of America in Union City, TN.

March 3 update: Our Lions and Lady Lions ended their seasons in the State semi–finals today.
Mr. Williamson and Dr. Frizzell’s Honors African American History class took a two-day field trip to important sites of the civil rights movement in Alabama.

February 19 sub–state update: The Lady Lions will play at Webb School of Knoxville on Friday, February 24 at 5:30 p.m. EST. The Lions will play at University School of Nashville on Saturday, February 25 at 6:00 p.m.
February 18 update: The Lady Lions lost to Lausanne and the Lions defeated Rossville.
