Third Graders Visit the Pink Palace
Last week our 3rd grade students had a field trip to the Pink Palace. They watched an iMax movie titled “Wings Over Water.” It tells the story of the epic journeys of three amazing bird families — the Sandhill Crane, the Yellow Warbler, and the Mallard Duck — with extraordinary footage of their fascinating behaviors as they migrate to the connected rivers, lakes, and wetlands across the heartland of North America. Then we were able to explore DNA of a strawberry in a guided DNA class. It was such a memorable experience!
