Congratulations to Meagan Canterbury (12) who received a DAR award certificate and $100 for her essay titled “Patience Wright: A Life in Wax and Resistance.” It was presented to her by Maria Burke of the Watauga Chapter of The National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
