On Saturday morning, October 24, dozens of Harding Academy Lions spread throughout Memphis to serve and love our city. For the 3rd year in a row, our students volunteered with Jesus Loves Memphis, a day devoted to showing the love of Jesus to the city of Memphis.
Our students worked with volunteers from many East Memphis churches, picked up trash at three parks around East Memphis, cleaned and organized for Room in the Inn, helped clear lawn debris, painted bible verses on the walls of a church building, and served in many other ways.
Our Harding Academy Lions finished 3rd in the Region to advance to the State Championships. Clayton Sharp (2nd) and Robbie Machen (10th) led the team.
Our Lady Lions finished their season finishing 5th at the Region Championships. Congratulations to our Lady Lions for a great season! And congrats to our seniors for a great running career! Zaria Christy (8th) led the team. She has advanced to the State Championship as an individual.
