Andrea Campbell Named Director of Vocal Performance
We are thrilled to announce Andrea Campbell (’16) as our director of vocal performance beginning this July.
After graduating from Harding Academy, Andrea earned her Bachelor of Music with an emphasis in Vocal and Music Education from Murray State University. She has served as music teacher and choir director for Shelby County Schools and as music teacher and fine arts director for New Hope Christian Academy.
Andrea will lead the development of our entire vocal music program. Along with leading the upper school a cappella chorus, she will teach K–3 music, assist with the musicals, help students prepare for All West, and more.
Dr. Frizzell said, “I am excited to watch Andrea work with our students. I know her enthusiasm and energy will help invigorate our program. And we love having Lions come back home!”
Rob Brannon’s Role Expands to Lower School
We are excited to announce Rob Brannon will continue to teach middle school chorus and will add teaching music for grades 4–5 to his responsibilities.
Rob earned his Bachelor of Music Performance in Percussion from West Texas A & M University and his Master of Arts in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University. He has worked in music for 20 years as a teacher, director, composer, and performer.
Rob has also served as the worship minister for several churches and is currently the worship and engagement minister at White Station Church of Christ.
Rob joined us at Harding Academy in 2021 as middle school chorus director. We are thankful for Rob and are excited to see him on campus even more next year.
