Eighth Grade Goes To Washington 2024
Our 8th graders are in the middle of a great trip to Washington, D.C.! This outing gives our students invaluable learning experiences and the opportunity to deepen their relationships with each other.
They’ve already visited the Jefferson, Lincoln, FDR, and MLK memorials, the Capitol, the Library of Congress, the African American History Museum, and the memorials for World War II, Vietnam, and the Korean War. And of course they worked in a stop at Bucee’s and some down time playing video games.
Today they are touring Mount Vernon, the Air & Space Museum, and the Holocaust Museum. They start their journey back tomorrow after visiting Arlington National Cemetery and the 9/11 Pentagon Memorial.
