Beginning the Year with Convocation

This morning our K–12 students participated in Convocation, a dedicated time to honor and glorify God as we begin the new school year. The bookends of our student community—our kindergarteners and our seniors— entered together as a reminder of the journey each of our students experiences as they grow and learn at Harding Academy. Students and teachers read scriptures as a reminder of God’s Word that guides and encourages us. Members of our fine arts department led worship as a reminder of our call to love the Lord with all that we have. And everyone participated in corporate prayer as a reminder of the power of the prayers of a community.
