First Junior High Football Game
On Thursday, August 27 the Lions kicked off the season by winning their first game on the new turf field. A couple of nice drives capped off by two Reid Swolensky rushing TDs gave the Lions a 12-0 lead late in the second quarter, but St Francis cut the lead to 12-6 by halftime. Myles Neely threw a touchdown pass to Ellis Walker late in the third quarter and Swolensky’s extra point gave the Lions a 20-6 lead. St. Francis scored once again to make the final 20-14.
