On December 3, University of Memphis running back, Patrick Taylor visited with lower school students to share a message about the importance of studying, working hard, and challenging themselves.
He read the story “Dino-Football” by Lisa Wheeler with the senior kindergarten and first grade students before answering questions about football, his favorite food, and his favorite animal – a tiger, of course! He shared the story of his school and football experiences with the 2nd–5th graders and answered some really challenging questions about his hopes for the future and why he loves playing football. Harding Academy lower school students benefited from hearing Patrick’s positive message and having the opportunity to talk to a college athlete.
