For the third year the annual Harding Academy Happy in Memphis 5K and Kids Dash was held on the Saturday morning before Thanksgiving. We hope this race will continue to become a holiday tradition for Memphis families so mark your calendar for next year’s race on November 17, 2018. Thanks to the generosity of Sharp, Robbins and Popwell, LLC, our race underwriter, and all our other sponsors, the 2017 Happy 5K raised more money for Harding students than previous years. Harding’s own Josh Hinkle led all runners with a time of 17:39.
Even with the threat of bad weather, as of the morning of the race, 478 individuals registered for the Happy in Memphis 5K, Kids Dash, or as Ghost Runners. This topped last year’s numbers as well! Thank you to everyone for your support.
