Harding Trap Team at Nationals

Congratulations to our Harding trap team! Five Harding team members competed with 2,800 students nationwide in the Scholastic Clay Target Program National Competition. The Harding squad was Sam Karpicke, Tristan Karpicke, Grant Reid, Hayden Riley, and Cooper Whitfield.

They finished 27th in the country in their division.

During their 2-day, 200-round competition, Cooper Whitfield hit a 25 straight, Tristan Karpicke hit a 50 straight, and Tristan and Sam Karpicke both posted personal bests. Tristan Karpicke was the squad’s high shooter with a solid 191/200. Thank you to coaches Jodi Whitfield and Doug Karpicke for their leadership. #hardingstrong
