7th grade trip to New Orleans
Our seventh grade students had a blast on their action–packed trip to New Orleans last week. They enjoyed a riverboat ride on the Cajun Queen that included a delicious lunch buffet and a tour of the historic Chalmette battlefield. Other highlights of their trip included a scavenger hunt at the World War II Museum, a tour of Mardi Gras World where the students made their own Mardi Gras masks. They finished the trip with a boat ride deep into the Honey Island Swamp.
