SK Students Celebrate Constitution Day!

Ms Paige’s kindergarten celebrated the signing of the U.S. Constitution on Constitution Day, September 17. They learned about the colonists’ fight for independence and about how the Constitution was written as the “supreme law of the land.” Thank you to Maria Burke of The Daughters of the American Revolution Watauga Chapter for providing us with coloring pages!
Students also learned about their rights and responsibilities. They brainstormed ways they can be good citizens at home, at school, and in the community. Each child created a “Good Citizen Mobile” illustrating how they can be a good citizen.
