Art Students Create Pottery with Raku Firing
Mr. Efaw and the pottery students cranked up the Raku kiln last week for their annual spring firing. Pots were heated to 1800 degrees in an hour time span, placed in metal cans with combustible materials, then plunged into cans of water. The results are stunning and can be achieved no other way.
