Harding Academy Advent 2020
Christmastime can be crazy and busy even in “normal” years. In the chaos of 2020, there is an even greater risk that December 26 will hit and we will realize that we missed it. Jesus comes, our Savior is born, and we are swamped in to-do lists, to-buy lists, and to-decorate lists. The word advent means “arrival” and this season is all about truly anticipating the arrival of the Messiah.
The anticipation of and longing for the birth of Christ is a Red Thread that can be traced back to the beginning… the very beginning. From the moment sin entered the world, God has been on a rescue mission to send his Son and restore that which was broken.
If your family doesn’t already have an advent tradition, we hope this will be a helpful guide to use for the ten days leading up to Christmas Day (December 16-25).
