Spelling Bee Champion for 2020-2021
Congratulations Steve!
On November 10, Harding Academy Lower School held a spelling bee to identify the best speller to represent the school at the county level spelling bee in 2021. Eighteen fourth and fifth graders participated in the live, socially distanced competition that was recorded for parents to enjoy virtually. The spellers went 30 rounds before fourth grader, Steve Savage emerged victorious by correctly spelling the word “condominium.” The final 15 rounds were an intense back-and-forth spelling battle between Steve and fellow fourth grader, Arizona Brown. Harding Academy is proud of Steve and all the students who participated in the spelling bee. #hardingstrong
