Lower School Accelerated Reader Awards

Accelerated Reader is a reading comprehension program designed to promote reading in grades SK-5. Students read books and take tests to earn points. Reading comprehension is measure by how accurately children answer the questions on each quiz. Each semester, points are totaled and students receive special rewards based on the total numbers of AR points earned and accuracy in reading comprehension. The children who earned the most points while maintaining a reading comprehension accuracy score of 85% or higher were recognized in chapel on Friday, January 31. Combined, these eleven children read over 1300 points this semester! Way to go!
