Lower school art teacher Bridget Cornelius submitted Cordova 4th grader Madison Harris’s doodle design in the nationwide Doodle4Google contest and it has been selected as the winner for Tennessee. Representatives from Google traveled from San Francisco to surprise her at an assembly at Cordova lower school last Thursday. Her parents, brother, Congressman Steve Cohen, and a representative from Senator Lamar Alexander’s office were also there. Now her design is in the national contest.
