Eighth grade English class video chats with author and alum Vince Vawter

Yesterday our Honors 8 English class had the opportunity to video chat with Vince Vawter, Harding graduate (’64) and author of Newberry Honor book “Paperboy.” The session was student-driven from the start, led by Avery Holdeman who contacted Mr. Vawter and organized the event. Students prepared questions to ask him after reading the book, exploring his website, and browsing through his senior yearbook. What an incredible experience for our students.
