SWE earns a Gold rating at Heritage Festival
Congratulations to Harding’s Senior Wind Ensemble!
They earned a Gold (Superior) rating, First Place in their division, and Best Overall Instrumental Group at the Chicago Heritage Festival this week. Avery Efaw earned a Maestro award for her solo, and Eric Burchett won the Ovation Award for his outstanding commitment to our band and the Harding community. We are so proud of them and thankful for Colby Canterbury’s outstanding leadership. Bravo!
While on tour in Chicago they attended a master class and toured Vandercook College of Music. They also enjoyed visits to Millennium Park, the Museum of Science and Industry, the Lincoln Park Zoo and took in a performance from the Blue Man Group.
