I’m positive that we will see great things from Lauren Deaton!” Alyssa Hall, former Harding varsity volleyball coach.
“Lauren committing to Samford is a true testament of her impeccable drive and work ethic. God has blessed her with a very special gift, which has brought her several individual awards and accolades, yet she remains very humble. I think that is why her teammates enjoy playing with her. Lauren is so fun to coach, she is a constant student of the game, always asking questions to make herself better and her passion and enthusiasm for the game is contagious. I am sure that will carry over at Samford, where she will have an instant impact. She makes everyone around her better including her coaches. Samford is very fortunate to have her and we look forward to the next chapter in her career there.” Coach Michael Sansone, Harding varsity volleyball coach.
