Swimmers Head to State Meet

State Meet Update: 

Alyssa finished 7th in the state in the 100 breaststroke and 12th in the state in the 100 fly. James finished 4th in the state in the 100 breaststroke and 19th in the state in the 200 individual medley. James and Alyssa work hard all year long to get these kinds of results and we are very proud they are Harding Lions!

James Townsdin and Alyssa Hale will compete at the State Championship meet this weekend in Nashville. We’re proud of you guys and wish you the best at State!

Congratulations to Alyssa Hale who placed first in the 100 yard breaststroke, breaking her county record from last year, at the Shelby County Championship Swim Meet on Saturday, 30. Alyssa also placed second in the 100 butterfly. James Townsdin placed first in the 50 breaststroke, breaking his county record from last year as well. James also placed second in the 100 breaststroke.
