Thanks to everyone who braved the chilly weather and came downtown today to support St. Jude! We had a great time!
Dear Harding Family,
Saturday, December 3, will mark the 8th year that Harding Academy has had the privilege of participating in the St. Jude Marathon and Half Marathon by hosting a Spirit Station along the race route. We have built quite a reputation with St. Jude and the marathon runners. Each year, we have an excellent turnout and we want to do the same this year!
Getting involved is easy! Our Spirit Station is located at mile marker 5 (the corner of Shadyac and Front Street). Everyone will be able to park at the Bass Pro parking lot. The race begins at 8:30 a.m., so everyone should plan on arriving between 7:30 – 8:00.
We want everyone…clubs, teams, chorus, band, faculty and staff, and families in upper and lower school (including Early Childhood) to participate. We encourage everyone to wear Harding spirit wear or your Harding/St. Jude t-shirt from a few years ago. Let’s show our community that Harding Academy is proud to support St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. If you have any questions, please feel free to give me a call at (901) 299-2168.
