Ty Wooton signs to play baseball at UALR

Ty Wooton (P/INF) has signed with the University of Arkansas at Little Rock (UALR). Wooton, a 4-year starter, batted .338 last year with 47 hits, 40 Runs Scored and 32 RBIs. As a pitcher he appeared in 8 games and was 4 for 4 in save opportunities with a 3.38 ERA in helping the Lions finish 33-8 on the season. Over his career, Wooton has helped the Lions win two District Championships (2014, 2016), one Regional Tournament Runner up (2015), one Regional Tournament Championship (2016), three Substate appearances (2014, 2015, 2016) and one State Runner up (2016).
