On Wednesday, September 23, students gathered for prayer at each Harding campus for See You at the Pole – a global day for student prayer. Before the school began (around 7:15 a.m.) almost 200 Harding upper schools students gathered in small groups and then around the flag pole on the stadium field to pray to be UNITED.
UNITED as a school — UNITED as a city — UNITED as a country — UNITED as a world — and UNITED with God.
“They all met together and were constantly united in prayer.” -Acts 1:14
At the lower school students prayed prayed for our nation and its leaders, our community helpers, and for our school. We prayed that we will be a light in our city and around the world, showing the love of Jesus to those who may not know Him. We are thankful for the opportunity to pray every day together, and this is a privilege that we do not take lightly.
“Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it.“-Luke 18:16,17
