Harding Academy’s 2015 Lower School Fine Art Night was a grand event hosted at White Station Church of Christ. The sixth grade Recorder Ensemble introduced the audience to a full range of recorders including the soprano, sopranino, alto, tenor, and bass. This group, made up of twenty-three students from both the Cordova and White Station campuses, combined their talents for this Fine Arts night performance. The 55 member Lower School Choir followed with several delightful selections including “Yonder Come Day,” The Circle of Life,” and “Soli Deo Gloria,” and featured a number of student soloists. The Lower School Choir is open to students in grades 5 and 6. Both musical groups performed under the direction of Mrs. Patsy Lane, the lower school music teacher. Following the concerts, parents and students strolled through beautiful displays of lower school artwork from grades 4, 5, and 6. Congratulations to these young musicians and artists for a wonderful evening.
