The Happy in Memphis 5k was a fabulous success raising over $74,000! Over 560 registered for the race and record 348 runners completed the course on Saturday, November 8. The race began and ended on our beautiful Cherry Road campus. Participants enjoyed a new 5k course, certified by Start2Finish, which took runners by notable Memphis landmarks such as:
- Elvis’s house bought in 1956 with royalties from “Heartbreak Hotel”
- Dixon Gallery and Gardens
- Audubon Park
- Memphis Botanic Gardens
Runners dressed to reflect what made them Happy in Memphis: Elvis, the University of Memphis Tigers, the Grizzlies, and more! Chip timing and race results were provided by Start 2 Finish. See race results at Racesonline.com.
