Alyssa Hall Named Coach of the Year
Varsity volleyball head coach, Alyssa Copeland Hall (’06), was named West Tennessee Division II-A Volleyball Coach of the Year. This honor was bestowed on her by colleagues of area high school volleyball programs in our division. Alyssa is in her first year as head coach of the Lady Lions volleyball program at Harding Academy. Congratulations, Alyssa, we are very proud of you!

Homecoming 2014
The 2014 Homecoming festivities culminated on Friday night, October 3, with the crowning of Homecoming Queen, Sara Jones, and a game victory by Harding Academy! Juniors won JUGG.

Molly Caldwell Crosby Speaks to English Classes
On Tuesday, September 16, Author Molly Caldwell Crosby spent time with AP Language and Composition classes and the AP Literature classes. Molly Crosby is a best-selling author and journalist. On Saturday evening, September 6, supporters of Harding Academy’s fine arts program enjoyed an evening of art, fun, and refreshment on historic South Main Street in downtown Memphis. Resident artist, Ephraim Urevbu, opened his gallery just for the Harding family and shared his incredible story that began in Warri, Nigeria.

Harding Receives 2014 Ambassador Award
Exciting news! On Tuesday, June 25, the Memphis Convention and Visitors Bureau presented Harding Academy with the 2014 Ambassador Award in front of a packed house – over 500 – at the Peabody Grand Ballroom. Jordan Clay accepted the award on behalf of the students of Harding Academy for “sharing the spirit of Memphis” through the “Happy in Memphis” video.
