901 ROCKS!

Mrs. Cornelius, the lower school art teacher is getting our students in the visual arts classes involved in the 901 Rocks movement that’s happening around Memphis. They have been busy painting some beautiful rocks that they will donate to St. Jude patients and their families who are staying at the Ronald McDonald House in Memphis. Our students are so excited and happy to be creating something that will spread joy to these children and their families who are going through such a difficult time.

Haven’t heard of 901 Rocks? “If you see angry rocks, smiling rocks, or even famous people painted on rocks around town, don’t be alarmed; it’s all part of the fun that a group of Memphians are enjoying called 901 Rocks. Memphians are painting rocks and leaving them around town for others to find.” Read the CA article.
