Congratulations to the sixth grade class – Class of 2022 – who “bridged” on Tuesday evening, May 10, 2016, at the Cherry Road campus. The Bridge Ceremony recognizes the transition from lower school to middle school. It is an exciting time for these students and we look forward to seeing them at the Next Big Thing immersion program in July and then back for school in August!
May 10: The Lady Lions lost to Fayette Academy and are 4th in the region. They will travel to The King’s Academy (#1 in East/Middle) to play sub-state next Friday, May 20. They play best 2 out of 3. Congratulations to our 2015-16 Athletic Award recipients!
Saturday was the TSSAA Division II-A State Invitational in Nashville, and both our Lady Lions and Lions track teams finished in first place. This is the second consecutive year that both of our teams have won the State Invitational Championship, finishing first among all other Division II-A schools. We now continue with preparations for the Regional and State Championships, where we hope to have continued individual and team success.
Every year we recognize the seniors on our athletic teams at the last home game.
Seniors Isaiah Cummings and Jerrod Smith have committed to continue their football careers in college. Isaiah is headed to Culver-Stockton College to play for the Wildcats and Jerrod is going to Millsaps to play for the Majors. We wish them the best of luck!

Dear Harding Family,
I want to thank everyone for another wonderful evening at Taste of Harding! We were blessed with beautiful weather and welcomed over 500 guests. Because of your support, over $77,000 was raised to benefit the students at Harding Academy.
I want specifically to thank our Taste of Harding Committee members, Kathie Ray, Tricia Mullins, our Advancement Office staff, and the countless student and faculty/staff volunteers who made our evening together so successful. I appreciate the wide support from the families, faculty, and staff from each of our campuses, and I am eternally grateful for your continued willingness to give your time and resources to keep Harding strong.
The success of this event would not be possible without the support of many vendors and sponsors who so generously donate their wonderful food and their staff’s time. Our restaurant awards this year were selected as follows: Lions’ Choice—Plumpy’s BBQ; Best Signature Dish (tie)—Las Delicias and Mama D’s Italian Ice; Best Taste—Boneheads. Whenever you are eating out or planning an event, please consider one of our Taste of Harding partners . . .
