Calvin Austin (ATH) of Harding Academy has signed with University of Memphis. Austin was named to the Murphy Fair Pre-Season D-II All-State Team, TWSA D-II A All-State Team, TN High School Football.Com All-State Team, and the TACA Toyota East West All-Star Team. He was selected 1st Team All Region D-II A West District as Special Teams Player of the Year for Region D-II A West District. Calvin has also received honors as CA Best of the Prep All-Metro D-II Team and is up for CA Best of the Prep Offensive Player of the Year.
Calvin has also been an All-Metro, All-Region, and All-State runner for 4 seasons. He has broken 5 school records, and won 4 state championships. He is the defending state champion in the 100, 200, and 400 meter runs. In 2016, he was named the Best of the Preps winner as the best track athlete in the Memphis area.
Mason Harwell (DL) of Harding Academy has signed with East Austin Peay University. Mason was named TWSA D-II A All-State Team, TN High School Football.Com All-State Team, and to the TACA Toyota East West All-Star Team and to the Auto Zone Liberty Bowl All-Star Team. He was selected 1st Team All Region D-II A West District as Defensive Player of the Year for Region D-II A West District and received honors as CA Best of the Prep All-Metro D-II Team.
Sam Jennings (DE) of Harding Academy has signed with Colgate University. Jennings is a 2 year starter was named 1st Team All Region D-II A West District. He led the Lions in Sacks (6), and was 2nd on the team in Tackles for Loss (11).
Nick Martin (WR) of Harding Academy has signed with Harding University. Martin is a 3 year starter and was selected 1st Team All Region D-II A West District. Nick finished his career with over 1,000 yards receiving on 84 catches.
Nick has also been an All-Metro, All-Region, and All-State runner for 3 seasons. He has broken 4 school records, and recorded several top 3 finishes at the State Championships.
Marquavious Moore (RB) of Harding Academy has signed with Columbia University. Moore was selected to the TN High School Football.Com All-State Team, selected 1st Team All Region D-II A West District as Offensive Player of the Year for Region D-II A West District and received honors as CA Best of the Prep All-Metro D-II Team.
Marquavious has also been an All-Region hurdler for 2 seasons, and has recorded several top 3 finishes at the State Invitational.
