Eighth Graders Explore Washington, D.C.

Our eighth graders return today from their class trip to Washington D.C.! They have visited many historical sites this week—Monticello, Mount Vernon, the Capitol, the Holocaust Museum, Arlington National Cemetery, the Pentagon 911 Memorial, the African-American History and Culture Museum, and the Air and Space Museum. They spent time at the monuments and memorials around the National Mall, and they even worked in some fun and games at Dave and Busters. Thank you to everyone who helped with planning and chaperoning to make this such a meaningful trip for our students.
