Harding Seniors Serve Their Community Delivering Meals for MIFA
On Wednesday, February 20 the class of 2019 participated in a morning of service for MIFA’s Meals on Wheels program. MIFA is an inter-faith organization in the Memphis area who provides free, hot meals for the homebound elderly. Students delivered food on twenty-five different routes throughout the city. Some groups spent time with the people they served, even praying for one lady on her birthday. Although this was the first time most of our seniors have participated in the Meals on Wheels program, many are planning to volunteer at MIFA again. This is the fourth year Harding’s senior class has helped serve meals for MIFA.
