Grant Hill to Play at Pebble Beach

September 29:  The Pebble Beach experience was (from Grant’s father) “exciting, reflective, grateful, exhausting, enjoyable, hopeful, insightful, and a Blessing all rolled into one!”  There were 81 junior golfers who were paired with a professional golfer (Grant was paired with Loren Roberts) to compete for the 23 final-day spots at Pebble Beach (televised).

While Grant did not make this cut, he and the remaining 57 golfers went on to play in the First Tee Core Value Cup at another gorgeous course, Poppy Hills. Grant tied for 2nd place!

One of the most proud and most memorable moments for Grant’s family was when Grant’s brother Glenn II was able to caddie for him and do a live interview on National TV. To say this was a WOW moment is an understatement!

Congratulations to Grant Hill who represented the 1st Tee of Memphis, Harding Academy, and Memphis, Tennessee very well.

September 15: Grant Hill, senior, recently qualified for and was selected to play as a junior golfer in the Nature Valley First Tee Open Pebble Beach in Monterey, California. This is probably one of his biggest accomplishments thus far for Grant as it relates to golf. He is one of only 81 students internationally to play in this tournament. He has been paired up with local golfer Loren Roberts. The tournament will run from September 22–27. We are very proud of Grant!
