Ron Chacko (’99)
Ron and his wife, Sunitha Chandy, have two children—John (Amadee) and Jacob (Prashanth). They attend the LaSalle Street Church in Chicago.
Ron completed his undergraduate studies and medical school at Northwestern University. He did his family medicine residency learning Spanish in the midst of a large Hispanic community, then learned how to care for patients with HIV in Los Angeles’s skid row. He returned to Chicago to lead the HIV program at Lawndale Christian Health Center. Ron currently serves as a primary care physician at Northwestern Medicine. He loves working with a great team caring for a diverse and complex patient population.
His favorite things to do in Memphis are goofing off with his family, spending an afternoon at Shelby Farms, or catching a Grizzlies game downtown.
What he loves most about Harding Academy is the genuineness of a group of individuals striving to live out the Gospel and share that journey through mentorship and example.
