Charlie Pleas III

Charlie and his wife, Doris, are members of the New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. They have two children—Bethany and Matthew.

Charlie is retired from his position as SVP Finance & Corp Controller for AutoZone. He enjoyed playing a key role in the growth of the company and its culture and having the opportunity to meet and work with some really great people.

In his spare time, he loves to spend time with his family, work in his yard and garden, and travel.

Charlie’s favorite thing about Harding Academy is the passion the leadership and staff share for the children and their success. His Deep Hope for the school is that we achieve our mission in a sustainable way to continue educating some of the most diverse and brightest students Memphis has to offer.
