SK students learn that science can be delicious!

Our kindergarten classes had a “cool” time making ice cream as they learned about the states of matter. Students observed a liquid (half and half, vanilla, and sugar) turn into solid ice cream. They also watched ice (a solid) turn into water (a liquid) as they shook their bags of liquid in ice-filled bags. The experiments continue this week as they use baking soda (a solid) and vinegar (a liquid) to make a gas to blow up a balloon!
