SK students have a merry little Christmas on the Farm
The SK classes continued their tradition of Christmas on the Farm with Farmer Tim. The 3 classes rotated through 3 stations at the farm. One station involved a “rock hunt” to help Farmer Tim prepare the area for sowing grass seed. Then, middle school horticulture students guided the classes through the farm sharing information about the various trees and plants growing and about the progress of our fall composting project. At the last station, students were able to touch and hear facts about chickens, rabbits, and cats on the farm. To close the fun, the SK students were treated to cookies and KoolAid while Farmer Tim read “The Night Before Christmas on the Farm”. What a fun, festive way to celebrate Christmas at Harding for our SK and horticulture classes!
