Poetry Out Loud 2026

This morning, we were treated to some powerful poems presented by our students in the Poetry Out Loud competition. First place went to Haakeem Holmes who performed “We Wear the Mask” by Dunbar and “Come Let Us Be Friends” by Fleming. He will participate in the state finals in Murfreesboro February 27–28. Congratulations are also in order for our second place finisher Trey Henderson and third place finisher Camden Barber.
