Eighth Graders Visit Washington, D.C.

Our eighth graders return today from their trip to Washington, D.C.! It has been a truly incredible week of hands-on learning. Students visited the African American History Museum, Air & Space Museum, Holocaust Museum, Washington Monument, National Archives, Supreme Court, Arlington Cemetery, and the memorials honoring MLK, FDR, Jefferson, Lincoln, WWII veterans, Vietnam War veterans, and the victims of 9/11. They also spent time learning and exploring at Monticello and Mount Vernon. Welcome back, eighth graders! Click here for more pictures of their trip.
