Eddy Efaw’s pottery selected for the Contemporary Arts Memphis Teacher Art Exhibition

Congratulations to Harding pottery teacher Eddy Efaw whose work has been selected for the Contemporary Arts Memphis Teacher Art Exhibition! The show features the work of ten high school art teachers from across Memphis and Shelby County.

Want to see the show in person? It is open through September 11 at Contemporary Arts Memphis (652 Marshall Ave.).

Eddy’s Deep Hope for his students is, “As God’s masterpiece, you will delight in his created beauty and in turn you will become a masterpiece maker in the lives of those around you.” You can see that Deep Hope in his selected piece, “Mourning into Dancing,” which exemplifies the defiant first steps of an exuberant dance borne out of darkness and the battle between chaos and order that commences.

We are so grateful for the creativity, skill, and dedication of our teachers like Eddy!
