Celebrating Black History Month
We had a great time celebrating Black History Month both on and off campus throughout February. These are just a few ways our students studied and honored Black history during this special time.
- Our student praise dancers were invited to perform at CBHS as part of a program themed Diversity: The Way God Created It. They also performed for our Harding students during a special chapel.
- Lower schoolers participated in the African American Read-in, an effort to encourage communities to read together, centering African American books and authors.
- Jr. K students created a coloring book honoring some of the heroes in Black history.
- Ms. Ashley’s two-year-old class created crafts to celebrate the month.
