Celebrate 85 years of Mr. Chester!

Join us in the O. O. Emmons Auditorium on May 9, 6:30 p.m., for the Harding Academy Choral Spring Concert. Chorus alumni and friends will be invited to sing with Mr. Chester, Choral Director Ms. Campbell (’16), and the current A Cappella Chorus. It will be followed by a birthday celebration in the lower school lunchroom until 8:30 p.m. We would love to see 85 alumni and friends join us for music and fellowship to thank a man who shaped our legacy of choral excellence. We hope to see you there!

Check out these pictures. Mr. Chester’s first year was 1970. According to the yearbook he was the chorus director AND the band director that year. Mr. Chester retired at the end of the 2007–08 school year. He directed Harding Academy’s choruses for 38 years! The pictures from 2008 were taken at his last spring concert.
