Last Wednesday there were a variety of animals visiting the EC campus with the Happy Times Farm Traveling Petting Zoo. The students fed a llama, lots of goats and a goose named Edwin. They got to pet a baby pig (and it could really squeal), a guinea pig, a baby duck, a baby chick, and some rabbits. Did you know that baby rabbits are called kits? There were also some Chinese silkie chickens with very soft feathers. They even got to grind corn for some of the animals. The students had a blast!
