Middle School Track Places First at Shelby 7/8 Meet

Congratulations to our middle school track team. Both girls’ and boys’ team won 1st place in the Shelby 7/8 small school division championship track meet April 30–May 1. Congratulations also to Austin Jackson for winning the Outstanding Performance Award for the boys. Austin also set three school records in the 100m, 200m and 400m dashes.  The Outstanding Performance Award for the girls was shared by our own LaNea Wallace and a runner from Hutchison. LaNea also set two school records in the 200m and 400m dashes. The individual awards presented to Austin and LaNea were overall performances for both small and large division.  Congratulations to both of the athletes and our entire middle school track team for a great finish to their season.
