Science National Honor Society members demonstrate science experiments to show that science is FUN!

Last week members of the Science National Honor Society performed 12 different science demos to show the middle school students how fun and exciting science can be.

Some of the demos included a leak proof bag of water with pencils sticking through it, a straw easily pushed through a potato, a method of cutting up an index card so a person could walk through it, a way to separate an egg using an empty water bottle, and the ability to make a soda can jump from one cup into another cup just by blowing into it.

The upper school students performed the demo and then asked the middle school students if they could explain the science behind it.
