In just his second year of competition representing Harding Academy, Marquavious Moore has taken top honors in Tennessee’s Poetry Out Loud, a national contest sponsored by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Poetry Foundation, and the Tennessee Arts Council. The state competition was held at the Country Music Hall of Fame Museum and Auditorium Saturday, March 4.

As the 2017 first place winner, Marquavious received a cash award and will represent Harding Academy and the state of Tennessee at the national competition in Washington D.C. April 25-26.
